May 3rd will mark 10 years since the Old Man fell. We have put our Old Man memorabilia ON SALE until the end of May! A true collectors item! Created just for us! This is a Gorgeous Bristol Blue Glass Pint Tankard which is engraved with New Hampshire's famous land mark, The Old Man of the Mountain. Also nicknamed "The Great Stone Face" or "Profile," The Old Man of the Mountain was located in Franconia Notch, NH. The Old Man of the Mountain was scenically set 1,200' above Profile Lake. Discovered in 1805, the rocks that made up the profile, sadly collapsed on May 3, 2003. The Old Man of the Mountain has been the State Symbol for New Hampshire and was chosen as representation for the New Hampshire Quarter. Today, The Old Man of the Mountain memorabilia is still very much sought after by collector's and folks who just want to have a piece of The Great Stone Face. We are very proud to offer this item as this collector's tankard was designed exclusively for us at Bristol Blue Glass, USA. This Pint Tankard is absolutely beautiful and would make a stunning addition to anyone's home bar or use at your favorite saloon! This cobalt blue engraved pint tankard is approx. 5 1/2 inches tall. Please note this image can also be engraved on any other piece of blue glass as a special order. Daniel Webster once said: "Men hang out their signs indicative of their respective trades; shoemakers hang out a gigantic shoe; jewelers a monster watch, and the dentist hangs out a gold tooth; but in the mountains of New Hampshire, God Almighty has hung out a sign to show that there He makes men."
